Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho will keep in his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu an error if the title, the Spanish giants of the Premier League or the Champions League win.
Madrid have failed to win the Primera Division since 2007 and lifted its last Champions League trophy in 2002, but Mourinho calls the club the trophy drought has come to an end. "If we do not win the league or the Champions League (season), it would be a mistake," he said.
In the league, Mourinho will look to Madrid for an end to domination by Pep Guardiola in Barcelona, who have won the last two tracks bring, comfortable. "Barcelona has a different dynamic right now [after Madrid)], a philosophy of return for many years, players who are together for many years and a coach who will be approaching its third year," he said.

"[But] in Madrid, the most veteran player [Iker] Casillas, who is 29, and the coach has just arrived."
And Mourinho knows his side will also compete with established sites in Europe, as Barça, Manchester United and his former clubs, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
"It's the same story in the Champions League," he said. "Manchester [United] have a coach and a team [with the fact that for many years. Chelsea] have [a structure that have been in place] for many years, Barcelona and Inter had the same structure for three years.
"There are teams that have at the beginning of the season a different potential, but we will try to work hard and we will do everything to get it," he concluded. "Real Madrid have a history of winning victories, and if not, the club, it's a problem."
